Joan Jett in Tunica, MS 7.30.10

I LOVE ROCK and ROLL!!!! Joan Jett rocked Mississippi last night! I arrived at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica, MS a few hours before the show, so I could hit the slots. And hit I did! I doubled my money, winning $200. Actually I won more, but of course kept gambling. My Hot Shot slot machine never lets me down.

Then it was time for Joan. I went to Bluesville an hour before the show started, so I wouldn’t lose my winnings, and took my seat in the 5th row on the floor! I didn’t get great pictures because I was just using my iphone, but I got great video!

Although it was obvious she wasn’t feeling well, Joan Jett played all of her hits from the Blackhearts and the Runaways. I think they played every song off Joan Jett and the Blackhearts Greatest Hits they released this year. They opened with ‘Bad Reputation’ and went right into ‘Cherry Bomb.’ Highlights for me were of course ‘I Love Rock and Roll,’ ‘I Hate Myself for Loving You,’ ‘Do You Wanna Touch Me’ and ‘Crimson and Clover.’
