staying a few more days

I decided to stay in Maryland a few more days, so I won’t be back in Memphis for the 4th of July. I just felt terrible yesterday and there was no way I could have driven 8 hours as planned. And I don’t want to drive over the 4th of July weekend with all the traffic. So I am staying in Maryland until Tuesday.

Last night I went to Charlestown with Cindy, my parents and their friends to try my luck at the slots again. I lost all the money I brought back with me from Dover Downs. I had fun though. Dover Downs is way better than Charlestown though. It’s nicer and brighter and has Hot Shot!

Today Mom and I went to Arundel Mills, so I could get Tabitha’s birthday present and a pair of sketchers. It was a successful trip. I can’t stand shopping, so I’m glad I was able to get what I needed.

I have a plans the next few days to see some old friends, so hopefully that will pan out and not get cancelled.
