The 1980s from A to Z – tv, movies, music
It’s totally tubular you joined me as I blogged the A to Z Blogging Challenge this past April. I hope you enjoyed the journey back to the totally awesome 1980s as much as I did writing about my favorite television shows, movies and music from the best decade ever, the decade I grew up in as I was 8 in 1980 and 18 in 1990. These were just my favorites (not necessarily the best or the most popular) from the 80s and how they impacted my life, actually they shaped my life. My favorites are often associated with the great memories they bring, not necessarily because of the quality of lack here of. Also, a lot of my favorite tv shows and movies are because of their soundtrack or theme song because apparently music plays an significant part in my life.

Once again, congratulations on completing the challenge. It’s been a fun month. It was good to discover your blog and reconnect with my 80s love. I know my series included many TV shows and commercials outside the 80’s, but you can bet, when I included the 80’s they were likely my favourites.

This has been a great series. I loved the 80’s theme. It’s one I’ll be considering doing possibly next time.
Most people realized that although my blog had TV shows from many different decades. I was heavy on the 80s whenever possible.
It’s been good getting to know you and your blog. I’ll be stopping back in to check things out. 🙂

No mention of “Cheers” regarding 80’s shows?
As for Huey Lewis and the News, they were the first concerts I ever saw, at Merriweather Post Pavilion, in ’84 and ’85. They did a hell of show. I also saw Jerry Lee Lewis at Pier 6 in Baltimore, 1989. i

Thank you for your website. Isn’t it ironic that JLL lived longer than the other Sun Studios stars? Very talented guy, yet I recall the story from the late Lamar Fike, one of Elvis’ friends….”Jerry Lee is a dog…..always has been.”
