Lisa Marie Presley performs in Jungle Room at Graceland

006

In September during her stop in Memphis on her Storm and Grace Tour, Lisa Marie Presley performed in the Jungle Room at Graceland, the house where she grew up and where her dad recorded his last album Moody Blue. Today Yahoo Music released the performance on its site. Lisa performed “Over Me,” “Sticks and Stones” and “Weary.” (I can’t embed them, so please click on the song title for video) “Sticks and Stones” is one of my favorites – watch for Lisa’s drum solo at the end. And check out Michael Lockwood’s (Lisa’s husband and band leader) guitar in “Weary” – it’s Elvis’.

Not that I need another reason to get excited, but watching these performances got me SO excited for Lisa Marie Presley‘s shows this weekend! I am going to see Lisa Friday and Saturday nights at her sold out shows at The Barns at Wolf Trap in Vienna, VA and at the Sellersville Theater in Sellersville, PA, respectively. Although my seat is a bit closer for the Virginia show, I am more excited about the Pennsylvania show. On Saturday, I have the VIP package which includes a Meet & Greet with photo and a Q & A or sound check. Only 30 of us lucky fans will take part in this VIP extravaganza, which starts three hours before the show.
