Unlike most everyone else, I was not enamored by the Memphis Mafia book which most uphold as gospel. I mean it is very informative and I love hearing from Billy Smith for the first and only time, but on the whole it is very negative. I know it’s true and what they say happened did happen, but the way Lamar frames most of his stuff is extremely negative. He literally hates everyone. It took me years to get through this book because I had to keep putting it down and could only take the negativity in small doses. With that said, I was very honored to meet Billy and Jo Smith and have them sign my first edition copy of Elvis Aaron Presley Revelations from the Memphis Mafia.
