Once I heard Charles Stone was going to be at Elvis Week selling his new book, I thought I should get his first book. I went to his website and ordered an autograph copy of his first book. Charles emailed me back and asked me who I wanted it made out to. He is a really nice guy! I enjoyed Charles Stone’s first book My Years with Elvis and The Colonel, but like the title says it is a lot about The Colonel. I mean it makes sense since Charles worked with The Colonel organizing Elvis’ tours. There were also some funny stories about traveling with Elvis and about the girls at the concerts trying to get on stage with Elvis. I did enjoy the book. It was a quick, easy read. And I did finally meet Charles at Elvis Week and bought his second book, but that will be in a future post.
