I went to the HiTone tonight – for the first time! Been wanting to go ever since I moved to Memphis 2 years ago. It is the most popular spot for local bands as well as national acts.

Back in the 1970s the building was Elvis’ karate dojo, so it was doubly special for me!

Tonight Bulletproof Vests were headlining, and they were great. The crowd was cool and laid back.

It was a great night! I will definitely be going back to HiTone!!
