Enjoying Memphis!

Had a great day, this my first out of the house since I’ve been back in Memphis. I stopped taking my augmentin and was no longer tired or nauseous. Enjoyed 2 of my 3 favorite things in Memphis – Beale Street and Graceland.

I met Marcie at Alfred’s on Beale Street for lunch. We were going to sit up on the porch, but it was too hot and humid. So instead, we sat inside at a corner table by the window – and the flies. We parked at 4th and Beale across from the historic Beale Street Church and the original framing of the old church.

After lunch, we went to Graceland! Marcie hadn’t been since January, and I hadn’t been since April. We each bought an annual pass, so now we can go as often as we want. It wasn’t crowded, so we could go at our own pace and really enjoy it. I have so many pictures of Graceland, but I couldn’t help take a few more.

I’m tired from today’s fun, so I’m relaxing on the couch with a pizza and I Love Lucy reruns – about to watch Big Brother. All I’ve of eaten this week is pizza because tomorrow I go vegan. No more real cheese!

A few days later I filmed what I loved about Memphis, please watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA4_bq8JOnc
