the question isn’t IF Broncos will beat Jaguars, it’s by how much?
In Week 6, the Denver Broncos are favored by 28 points over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Denver this Sunday. This is the largest point spread in NFL history. Denver is 5-0 scoring an average of 46 points per game and winning by an average of 18 points per game. As phenomenal as the Broncos have been, the Jaguars have been equally as bad. Jacksonville is 0-5 only averaging 10 points per game. The Jaguars’ 51 total points are equal to what the Broncos scored against the Cowboys last Sunday. This was pointed out by Denver and sparked somewhat of a Twitter war with Jacksonville.
The Broncos offense is nearly unstoppable, so they should have no trouble against the Jaguars’ 10th-ranked pass defense and 32nd-ranked rush defense. This should allow for another record-breaking game for Peyton Manning and Knowshon Moreno as well as more playing time for backup quarterback Brock Osweiler and reserve running backs Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball.
With the expected blowout, this may not be the most anticipated game on Sunday. But you should still watch if for no other reason than to listen to ex-Bronco Hall of Fame Tight End Shannon Sharpe’s first broadcast from the booth. That is the main reason I will be watching (and listening).
