Today I was inspired by a documentary I watched called 10MPH where these guys quit their corporate jobs to follow their bliss. They made a documentary about their cross country journey on segweys. It made me feel a little less crazy knowing that I’m not the only one out there who quit their job to follow their bliss. I am very much enjoying seeing everything I’ve been wanting to see and videorecording it along the way. So I bought a domain and made this blog public and vow to blog everyday.
This week was about body and mind health. Monday through Friday Elvis, Cilla and I walked along the Mississippi. It was delightful and always gives me such a positive outlook. Then I spent time on my front porch each afternoon reading. Again, delightful. It was a really good week. Plus I lost 1 1/2 pounds, not quite the 2 a week goal I have, but at least it’s something. I am using the ipod app Lose It and tracking all of my calories and exercise each day. My goal is to lose 50 pounds, which should be accomplished by September. But I would be happy with 20 and then go from there. One day at a time!
