Last week, Donny was evicted and gets a role on Bold and the Beautiful, which is so odd to me. Before he was evicted Donny was crying that Team America didn’t stick together and save him, but just a few weeks ago Donny said he wasn’t there for Team America – he was there for Donny Thompson. You can’t have it both ways Donny. I am glad Donny is gone. He was a good guy, no doubt. But I do not think anyone hated him, as he and America thought. Donny was targeted because he wasn’t in the great alliance, just like everyone who has been evicted. Also, Donny won Vetos, so he had to go – plus he was on to Derrick.
This HoH comp was great because we finally were able to watch it on the live feeds. And it was a long one too. The sliding back and forth to fill the bucket, or snowman in this case. Even though Caleb blew out his knee, he won HoH. Christine and Frankie were really close behind him. Derrick saw early on there was no way he could catch any of them, so he started going to the smaller money snowman. Derrick won $5000 and 5000 “Hollas”. Derrick is a little concerned the others don’t vote him out because of the money or of the annoying “Hollas,” but it seems everyone is ok with it – for now anyway. Derrick and Nicole are “Have nots” for the week. Derrick volunteered, and Caleb chose Nicole, which is terrible because she was just a have not. No one should be a have not two weeks in a row. Everyone had been a Have Not twice, except Frankie, who has only done it once. Derrick volunteered to offset winning the money and having production randomly yell “HOLLA!” I have to say, so far, I am really getting a kick out of the “HOLLAs.” Caleb nominated Christine and Nicole for eviction, with the intention of sending Nicole home – or in this case back to the Jury House.
SPOILER Frankie was the only one who did not play in the Veto competition. Frankie was annoyed that Caleb did not pick him for house guest choice. But the guys thought it might be a physical comp, so he picked Cody since he was the only one not sore from the HoH since he didn’t play. But alas, their plans were foiled once again and Cody went out first. Christine won the Veto. Cody gets to wear a Dinasour costume for the week, which I find really funny for some reason. Caleb considered backdooring Frankie, but he whimped out and nominated Victoria. Here’s how it went down. Cody told Caleb that Frankie told Christine it was all Caleb’s idea to save Donny and get out Nicole. This brought back to Caleb all of Frankie’s past betrayals. Caleb, Cody and Derrick have a discussion and pretty much decide on backdooring Frankie. Then Frankie gets to Caleb and tells him Nicole said some things. It is obvious Frankie realizes something is up and Caleb is waivering in his trust for Frankie. Then Caleb actually tells Frankie that he is suspicious of everyone even Frankie. Then Frankie asks Caleb point blank if he was thinking of putting him up, since it’s obvious that Caleb thinks Frankie would put him up. This is dangerous because now Frankie has carte blanche to go after Caleb. After that conversation, it would have been perfect for Caleb to backdoor Frankie after basically telling him that was what he was considering. Then Cody, Caleb and Derrick discuss what they should do – for over two hours until 5am. They pretty much decide, for the most part, to wait on backdooring Frankie and just nominate Victoria, with the intent on sending Nicole home this week. They would like to get Frankie out in the double eviction Thursday. The next morning Frankie and Caleb talk again, basically reiterating their conversation from the previous night. Frankie is just double checking Caleb is not backdooring him. Just a half hour before the Veto ceremony, Caleb is still not 100% certain what he is going to do, telling Derrick he’ll know when he’s up there. Then Frankie and Caleb talk yet again. Frankie is now triple checking Caleb will not backdoor him. I have to give to to the guy. Frankie is persistent and has great instincts. Frankie knew Caleb was thinking of turning on him. Caleb talks way too much, can’t lie and tells everyone everything. He did not have to tell Frankie all of that. It was clear that Caleb wasn’t 100% sure nominating Victoria was the right thing to do, but that’s what he did. Hope it doesn’t come back to bite him in the ass because there was no way Frankie could have gotten out of that. He would have been out the door. It just seems that everyone is sitting around worried about Frankie and talking about what a competition beast he is and how smart he is and what a great talked he is. If they are so scared, then why isn’t he walking out the door Thursday?! I am not sure who Caleb is lying to – Frankie or Derrick? He has promised both to take them to the final two. I think Caleb is telling Derrick the truth because he knows he has a better chance at beating Derrick than Frankie, and he actually considered backdooring Frankie this week.
After the Veto ceremony, Frankie talked with Derrick. Frankie told Derrick he understood that even though Derrick was in on the discussion, he couldn’t be 100% either way and he would have played it the same way. Frankie also told Derrick that he knows it was Derrick and Cody that talked Caleb out of backdooring him. Frankie seems completely loyal to Derrick over Caleb. In the DRs in the past, Frankie has said that Derrick is the only one he completely trusts 100%. Even if, I still want Frankie walking out behind Nicole on the double eviction Thursday just because I don’t like him because he feels entitled. Derrick talked with Nicole and Victoria after the Veto ceremony, telling them he tried to get someone else to go on the block next to Nicole so she wouldn’t be evicted. Derrick is great at this. He sympathizes with every evicted house guest before they walk out the door to try to get their jury vote. Also, Nicole is now close with Victoria, so Derrick should be sitting pretty with her. Derrick is actually sitting pretty with everyone, and everyone knows it. I hope he starts winning comps soon. And who is Derrick loyal to? I think anyone who he gets to the final two with. Derrick has a final two with Cody, with Victoria, with Caleb and with Frankie. Derrick has a final three with Cody and Caleb and with Caleb and Frankie. So right now, the worst person for Derrick’s game is Christine and she really likes Derrick, so maybe I want her to walk out the door after Nicole on Thursday. #TeamDerrick
